About Us
Our Mission
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit by…
- Leading them to Him,
- Growing them up in Him,
- Propelling them to serve Him.
Matthew 28:18–20 (ESV)
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Our Vision
Vision Statement:
Our vision is to love Christ and live out the Gospel life together, as we reach North Nampa with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Our Core Values
The Bible is our final authority for life. Everything we believe and practice runs through the filter of God’s Word. Though methods may change, God’s unchanging Word will always direct everything we do.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 (ESV)
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
The Christian life isn’t meant to be lived in isolation. We want to be a community of believers that is authentic and real, willing to share both our struggles and joys, and truly bears one another’s burdens.
Galatians 6:2 (ESV)
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Hebrews 10:24–25 (ESV)
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
We want to be a church that reaches out and serves the community. We want to be a city on a hill and a light that cannot be hidden. While the church is made up of those “called out”* we need to intentionally reach into the world.
Matthew 5:14 (ESV)
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Because the great commission isn’t to make converts, but to make disciples, we want to be a church that strives towards maturity and leads others towards maturity in Christ.
Colossians 1:28 (ESV)
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
Grace is at the very center of how God relates to us and how He expects us to relate to one another. We must remember what God has given us in the Gospel so that we can give that same grace out to others.
Ephesians 4:29 (ESV)
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
We want to provide many opportunities for believers to engage in serving joyfully while protecting them from burning out.
Colossians 3:23 (ESV)
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men
God has created us as creative beings and we want to use our unique gifts and abilities to point people to Jesus and shine the light on Him.
Matthew 5:16 (ESV)
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
We want to bring the timeless truths of God and His Word forward to the next generation in the language that best speaks to their need for Him. We want to remove any unneeded obstacles and always be of the mindset, “How can we best communicate to the world God has called us to reach?”
Colossians 4:3–4 (ESV)
At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— 4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
