Dear Church Family, Do you ever feel like the world is getting more and more evil? Do you wonder when God is finally going to come back? Sometimes it can feel like the end will never come and the world even mocks us for believing God at His promises. The same was true in the days of Ezekiel. It’s hard to hold onto belief when everyone around is doubting or even mocking God’s Word. The reality in Ezekiel’s day was that the fall of Jerusalem was right around the corner, even though the people were denying it. God always keeps His word! God reminds Ezekiel of this:
What promise of God are you waiting on today? Maybe it’s Christ’s return or His promise to hear us when we pray. Whether it’s his promise to forgive us when we confess our sins or His promise to work all things for good, we can trust that every word that He speaks will be performed. |
